This woodworker’s project is to build a writer’s desk. Writer’s desk is constructed to write letters, documents, make out bills and keep track of the paperwork. It can also be used as a computer desk for your laptop. This desk has two drawers underneath the tabletop and several cubbies above to store papers. It’s called walnut writing desk but you can make just the top out of walnut and the rest another type of wood. It’s a simple design with thin tapered legs and mortis and tenon joinery. Depend on if you are right-handed or left-handed, the set of drawers can be mounted on either side of the table by exchanging the top two rails.
