Vojtech Jirovec (1763-1850) was a Czech composer living mainly abroad. In Vienna, he was a friend of W. A. Mozart. He introduced J. Haydn to the local company in London and became famous everywhere for his compositions. In this book you will find12 Walzers originally written for a piano. The compositions were created at a time when the Ländler dance was losing its earthiness and gradually turned into an elegant "wiener walzer". You can judge the quality of chosen Walzers on other sites.
