The entire work is organised in several volumes. Each volume presents a series of pieces gradually becoming more and more complex and challenging. Starting with very easy pieces, the student will be guided into the discovery of musical elements such as odd meters, rudiments, bpm changes and so on. The duets can be played as concert pieces because they are composed in a musical way: they are meant to be music, not just exercises. For the more advanced duets presented in the subsequent volumes, professional musicians can integrate them into their repertoire for live performances and album recordings. This first volumes aims to get students comfortable with ensemble music (for drums, of course). The book can be used in any Drumset or Percussion courses or classes, providing interesting and fun materials for the students to enjoy the learning process while having fun playing together.
