This story takes you on Barbara’s journey training for Ironman and facing such questions herself. It is more a personal journal but most importantly how Barbara survived and what she did to overcome secondary cancer against all odds.

Barbara was raised on a farm in Puahue, Waikato, New Zealand. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1997. In 2005, she discovered Ironman and set a goal to complete Ironman Taupo. In 2007, Barbara was diagnosed with bone cancer. Today, she is cancer-free and sharing her inspirational story
