Interactive Chemistry, Principles and Concepts pdf

This book enhances principles and concepts covered in previous edition. Much like previous edition, this one also covers basic chemistry in 12 chapters. Chapter 1 helps students to learn and practice stoichiometry, chapter 2 deals atomic structure and chapter 3 addresses chemical bonding. Chapter 4, 5 and 6 are about states of matter: gases, liquids and solids. Equilibrium, kinetics, solutions have covered in chapter 7, 8 and 9 respectively. Chapter 10 deals with acids and bases chemistry. Electrochemistry and thermochemistry have covered in chapters 11 and 12 respectively.

Almost every principle and concept have been further explored by solved and practice problems so that readers could apply their conceptual understanding. This edition contains key illustrations depicted in multitude of illustrations, textboxes, and infoboxes which help students to practice and learn chemistry themselves. Solved problems equip readers to learn how to tackle questions orienting chemistry. In class, I frequently suggest students to focus three things for learning: reading standard books, trying to understand concepts and solving problems, the practice what I call RCS approach. Reading questions you, concepts enhance knowledge and practice evolves understanding. Science is not about memorization but it requires understanding through RCS. In fact, problem solving was cherished method of G. N. Lewis to guide students for integrating concepts.
