I kept my handwritten notes for concerts that I attended since the early 1980's. I documented every aspect of the concert, from the lineup to the setlist. From the date of the concert to the merchandise. I begin in 1972 with The Rolling Stones concert in Fort Worth, Texas and end Volume 1 with AC/DC in 1983. In between we have performers like Elvis Presley, Pat Benatar, and Ted Nugent to bands like Journey, Triumph, and Van Halen. The story is my journey into live music, which has been a lifelong love of mine. I include pictures of the stubs, memorabilia, venues, and the bands (well, except for one) and stories of when I met certain artists and their comments and insight. The stories of my struggles as a teenager, trying to make money for concerts and the most difficult part, how to find a ride and interacting with the people in my life.
