A quarter of a century later, the second edition of "Mathematics for Example" appears, taking advantage of the increased dissemination opportunities available, allowing the work to reach more people and regions. Much more than ever, the need to combat prejudice against numbers, the trouble of arithmophobia, demands the responsibility of all teachers and public authorities. This book claims its part in this campaign, which must never be diminished.
This work covers the high school contents of a not yet addressed so in the country. Starting by chapter zero, review the previous series, it continues to cover all the content of High School. In this current version, Book 2 deals with the topics of Ordered Sets - Progressions, Matrices, Combinatorial Analysis - and Spatial Geometry. The main idea in the text construction is that the student depends less and less on the teacher because doing mathematics is that, it does not mean that we can dispense with the introductory lecture for each topic. In each chapter, except for the revision, after a summary of definitions, there is a first set of examples or solved exercises that incorporate the theory, and a second block of the exercises. This second block is that, in our view, should be followed by the teacher, who can also, at times, guide students on what page the solved exercises of the subject matter are. The reader will find new types of exercises such as those calling for the achievement of the quadratic function from a graph. Speaking of readers, the summary of settings, called Basic Notions in the early chapters can be read aloud in the introductory classes, either by the students, in coordination with the teacher, or even by the master himself.
