The bidding system I use with my Bridge partners. It is based on the Standard American Yellow Card System, SAYC. It is modified as we develop and as I play with 4 regular partners there are a few differences. Perhaps this can form a basis for your partnership agreements? I do not claim that the details in this book follow the ‘precise’ formal agreements, but they work for us. Many additional complexities could be added, and perhaps some will over time. No two partnerships have exactly the same bidding agreements. This book details what we all agree on most closely. It provides a solid foundation for anyone using SAYC. I have added a small section on 2 over 1 bidding.
If you want to move from ACOL to SAYC this book will certainly aid that journey.
