The author had a casual connection with the Brajkovich & Sons collection of yesteryear vehicles at their Middle Swan, Western Australia, poultry farm by making a brief visit to meet them after their auction of the collection in November 2002. With this in mind, he made a decision to approach them early in 2024 about writing a book on their unique collection.
